Your 2017 Style According to Your Zodiac Sign

I recently came across the blog below and wanted to share with you all. How does your style stack up? Can you guess what sign your personal stylist is?

This year, don’t be afraid to experiment. As the first sign of the zodiac, you probably tried sheet masks before the rest of us ever heard of them. That’s because Uranus, the planet of trendsetting, has been in your sign since 2011 and will stay there until 2018. In that spirit, you’ll want to stay ahead of the sartorial curve. Your singular aesthetic may attract a few naysayers, but let the haters hate. Jupiter is traveling through the house of your horoscope associated with gossip, so all press can be good press in your case. In March and April, beauty planet Venus will retrograde in your sign, clearing the way for a Lady Gaga-style reinvention. Just don’t commit to anything drastic like going platinum or chopping your hair until after she’s direct again. That’s when you really shine.

Here’s your game plan, Taurus: get your best athleisure ready, because you’re going to spend the first half of 2017 prepping for a major career breakthrough in late summer. You have two eclipses lighting up your home sector, so you’ll want to be comfortable during those major transitions. Luckily, you make rocking your sports bra with Adidas sweats and kicks look like it came straight off the runway. You’re usually down-to-earth when it comes to beauty too, but your patron planet, Venus, will be retrograde in March and April, activating your mysterious twelfth house. Suddenly, you shed your everyday uniform in favor of soft, enchanting curls and wine-stained lips. You’ll look mesmerizing when August’s lunar eclipse in your career sector puts all eyes on you.

Are you feeling lucky, Gemini? Because you might just be getting lucky in 2017! Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, has been lighting up your pleasure sector since last August, and odds are good that any extra spicy adventures have been reflected in your aesthetic. This year, smoky eyes and bare shoulders offer a welcome departure from your usual librarian fare. Your clique might be a little surprised by your style choices thanks to tension from Uranus and Pluto, but here’s a secret: You’re the best flirt in the zodiac. Now’s your time to own it, before Jupiter changes signs in October. In August, a lunar eclipse in your ninth house of exploration takes you on an exciting journey. Pick up a conversation piece that you can flaunt when you get home!

Oh, Cancer. Sometimes it seems like everyone sees you as a princess, and while you are incredibly kind, that doesn’t mean you don’t know how to lead. This year sees you leaning in and becoming the intrepid captain of your life, with the wardrobe to match. Make the utilitarian look in warm neutrals like camel your go-to uniform, so you can focus your energy on more important decisions. Meanwhile, you’ll have support from lucky Jupiter in your creativity sector and Neptune in your expansion zone, helping you get your name out to the masses. Together, they form a star alignment called a Grand Water Trine that brings once-in-a-lifetime opportunities tailored for you. Just know that water could be literal, so make sure you wear waterproof mascara in case.

This year, you’re in your element, literally. Saturn in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries align with your sign in what’s called a Grand Fire Trine, fanning the flames of your creativity and influence to propel you to new heights. If it sounds great, that’s because it is, but you’ll definitely be outside your comfort zone in lots of exciting ways, and you’ll want to be dressed for the occasion. Color-blocked looks in bright hues and platform shoes, as well as day-glow lips and eyes will be the perfect accent to your newly emboldened spirit. Whatever you do, your mission for this year is to try as many new things as you can. Serious Saturn is moving through your pleasure sector, so it’s up to you to make your own fun. Once you do, surprise planet Uranus shows you beauty where you least expect it.

As the zodiac’s overachiever, some might say you’re like Hermione Granger—but if that’s the case, you’re also a wizard! That’s especially true this year, as the stars align in the areas of your horoscope associated with the supernatural. Two eclipses in February activate your psychic senses, and a few tweaks to your look might be just what you need to complete your magical transformation. Add something blue to your wardrobe. Not only is it major for 2017: It’s your sign’s lucky color, and it has a history of protecting against weird vibes from not-so-genuine friends trying to get a come-up off your abilities. There’s another round of eclipses in August, but luckily, you’ll have the magical combination of Jupiter and Neptune on your side to ward off any stress.

You’re riding high off Jupiter’s entry into your sign last September, enjoying a season of success that only comes around once every 12 years. Until October, squeeze every last drop of Jupiter’s fun-loving, over-the-top influence into your life, and dress every bit the part. You’re usually somewhat demure, but tension from Uranus and Pluto means that right now, you’ve got the edge to pull this off. Make the late, great Prince and David Bowie your icons. Ruffled blouses, platform shoes, broad shoulders, and smoky eyes all draw people into your larger-than-life persona. In August, an Aquarius lunar eclipse in your creativity sector makes you even more charismatic. Use that moment to make any last pitches, and you’ll reap the benefits for years to come.

You’re no stranger to ambition, Scorpio, but 2017 is the year you finally start to see it pay off. Your ruling planet, Pluto, has been in your networking zone since 2008, putting you in powerful social circles. Chances are you’ve entered a new league since then, and your aesthetic should follow suit. The shirting trend projects an air of professionalism, and a deep side part keeps your signature sex appeal intact. Pluto is in Capricorn, so make that sign’s favorite neutral—nautical stripes—your go-to. Lucky Jupiter enters your sign just in time for your birthday, giving you a come-up you could never have expected. He’ll be in sync with Neptune in your pleasure sector, so when opportunity knocks, answer. A lover or artistic project could be waiting, and you’ll want to look your best.

Get ready, Sagittarius, because you may have the busiest year of all! With your ruling planet, Jupiter, in your social sector until October, you’ll have more invitations than you have space in your calendar. Even if it’s tempting to buy something new for every event, the stars want you to shift the way you spend. Responsible Saturn has been in your sign since last September, showing you how to stretch your money and put it into things you really love. Do quality over quantity: investment pieces, a bespoke scent, and a haircut that accentuates your best features all give you the luxury you crave without breaking the bank. If you do make an impulse purchase, buy something that supports your artistic side. Later in the year, when Jupiter enters Scorpio, you’ll be able to hunker down and recover. In December, Saturn finally exits your sign, giving your career a boost. Don’t work so hard you forget to celebrate!

You’re usually such a pragmatist, but as surreal as 2016 has been, you may have felt like you’ve been living in the Upside Down. That’s because your ruling planet, Saturn, has been in your dreams sector since last September, blurring the lines between fantasy and fiction. Visionary Uranus will be in sync with Saturn throughout 2017, amplifying the effect. Consider this an opportunity to experiment with styles you might think are strange. Think Florence Welch: bell sleeves, lush florals, and voluminous tiers are all contenders. Braids or ribbons in your hair add to the mystical appeal. Throughout the year, lucky Jupiter in your career sector is in a tug-of-war with Pluto in your sign. It’s actually a good thing! Expect your public image to shift for the better, as long as you go with the flow.

As the zodiac’s “it girl”, you’re used to being in high demand, but in 2017, your popularity soars to new heights. It’s all thanks to your ruling planet, Uranus in your networking sector, making your already vibrant personality even more electrifying. Keep your signature color palette of neons, but deploy it in unexpected ways, like colorblocking and stripes. Uranus is in sync with serious Saturn in your leadership zone, so you’ll be able to impress important VIPs if you play your cards right. Shirting with a surprise twist looks good on you, especially paired with the club beauty looks you hold so dear. In August, when a lunar eclipse in your sign puts you in the spotlight, know that you might need to be red-carpet ready at any moment. Keep a bag of travel beauty supplies at the ready, just in case.

This year, you take some much needed time for yourself. After your ruling planet, Neptune, entered your sign in 2012, you’ve been more self-confident, with or without the world’s approval. In February, the last in a cycle of eclipses in your sign inspires you to reinvent your whole aesthetic accordingly. Traditionally, Pisces shines in dreamy florals and blues. Want more grit? You’re a water sign, so wet hair or slicked-back braids look good on you. Just make sure you’re getting plenty of hydration and are using a good moisturizer throughout the process. In October, Jupiter moves into fellow water sign, Scorpio, and into sync with your sign. You’ll benefit from the planet’s good luck and charm, especially when it comes to travel. While you’re out and about, pick up a beautiful fragrance or piece of jewelry as a memento.

  SHOUT OUT!

It is that time of year, its mid August and I can't wait to start wearing fall fashions. In the meantime - our buying team has started scouting for Spring Fashions. They have hit the Big Apple, Chicago, Vegas and in a few more weeks back to NY. I know it sounds crazy, but that is how it's done. One of the most rewarding aspects as a sales person is the buying team takes time out of their crazy days to keep us in the loop. By 8am each day my inbox has a market update. They not only let us know what is happening at market - but what they are seeing on the streets. Pictures are sent, industry buzz words are shared. They do an excellant job making us all feel like we are part of the buying team. So you're probably wondering where I am going with this blog.  I want to give our buyers a shout out for all they do. And I want to let all of you know that I am really excited about our new line that will be hitting our stores in the near future. Come for a visit soon and check it out for yourself.

Beauty and The Beast.... of maintenance

I am 48 and proud to say that I haven't taken to the ever so popular trend of facial maintenance. Please don't get me wrong, I embrace anyone who does. I am the first to inquire about the latest and greatest in aesthetic services. I just fear that once I get started, I won't be able to stop. So I found 11 manageable steps to help TRY and look younger.

1. Choose Lighter Lipstick.

2. Brush Blush Above Your Apples. A great option is Kevyn Aucoin Pure Powder Glow.

3. Lift Your Eyes With Pencil.

4. Invest In The Right Concealer.

5. Supersize Your Sunglasses.

6. Stock Up On Olive Oil. A thin layer of unflavored oil at night works micracles on dry skin.

7. Baby Your Hands. Hands are a dead age giveaway. To keep them young, apply the same retinoid from your face and hands and add a layer of Vaseline. Wear cotton gloves to bed to keep the treatment in place overnight.

8. Treat Your Feet.

9. Reverse Brown Spots. Lemon juice diluted with water helps fade sun spots on all skin tones.

10. Refrigerate Skin- Care Products After Opening Them. Did you know that you will get more lifting effect from your products if they are cold.

11. Rethink Frownies. Hello Frownies Facial Pads! These adhesive patches really do work. Apply to areas where you'd get Botox. They keep your facial muscles from contracting and lines from becoming deeper.

Over and Out!

  TIME TO TIE ONE ON

 The Scarf.

You can never have too many scarves. Theyr'e versatile, warm and can instantly transorm workwear and off-duty looks alike. Plan on pairing this look with a really simple outfit so the scarf can stand out.

How to:

Start by loosely  folding a sqaure scarf into three folds, then grip the top leaving a bit sticking out. Wrap the top  portion around your  neck and tie a knot, leaving the loosely folded lenght of the scarf drape in front.  Perfect for elevating workwear and wearing outside your coat.

Feel free to stop in Fayes in Mequon for some more of my favorite styling tricks.

Get a Cardigan.  A closet essential.

Try a jacket  or blazer. These can be worn over  almost anything.

  JOB FAIR

WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?

For  Decades women have been told how they need to dress when it comes time for an interview. The era of the power  suit is over. Today , personal style is everything, and nothing shouts confidence and vision more than your trademark look. Tell the world you're moving up with a wardrobe that truly stands out. I asked a few of the girls to comment on their  personal looks and here is what they had to say:

" I dress more polished than most my age because there's  a certain level of respect when in  a leadership role. Clean lines always work best for me."

"My brand is always a little quirky, I usually prefer to be a little more understated for a fancy party and and put on the glam for day to day."

" The more creative, the better."

Remember,. only birds of feather should  fly together. Girls, it is time to spread your wings!!

  Decorating for the Holiday

Talk is  Chic.................Hosting for the Holidays

I love to use classic  crystal pieces in unexpected ways, like putting tea lights in salt cellars and sorbets in champagne coupes, When entertaining I decorate with votive candles. If  it looks like a votive might fit inside,  i use it!  Just remember, entertaining is meant to be a pleasure, not a punishment! Be confident about your personal style. Most importantly enjoy the Holidays with family and Friends.

Cheers!

  PHOTO OPPORTUNITY

Fall Cleaning

This past weekend my husband and I decided to take on the project  of organizing family photos. Oh my! We laughed , we cried, we played the guessing game.  "Was I really that skinny...am I that gray? Do you remember when…………"

There's nothing quite like touching each and every photo. The memories really do come alive.  We also realized that as the  years  progressed we had fewer and fewer pictures. Why? We are always taking pictures. The bulb went on. They have all been up loaded to our home  PC.Good news: we won’t have  to take on a project like this anymore, the computer does  all the organizing. Bad news: we really did enjoying  going down memory lane with each and every picture.

  A girl can dream

Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa were married on 31 August 2013 on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. Photo: TheIsmaili / Gary Otte

Dreams really do come true. Goodbye,  Kendra  Spears.  Hello, Princess Salwa  Aga Khan.  Another American to marry royalty!  We can now move past the William and Kate obsession. Girls, don't hold your breath unless you  are a model. Its true, the Royals have a long history of marrying models.  Prince Rahim's mother, Princess Salimah, was a former British model known as Sarah Croker-Poole. Prince Rahim's younger brother Prince Hussain  was married to American model Kristin White , Princess Kalimah Aga Khan and.........his sister Princess Zahra married  British  male model Mark Boyden. (Why didn't he have to change his name?)  It was Prince Rahim's grandfather, Aly Khan, who really hit the jackpot when he married model/movie star Rita Hayworth!

  From the Top

One of this season's dominant shapes in handbags is............. the top handled bag. My perfect reference would be, of course, the Birkin. So here's a primer on the many ways to carry your bag:

-At the wrist. A great way to draw attention to your fabulous watch and layered bracelets.

-Below the elbow. Perfect for multi-tasking as the handle rests in the crook of ones arm.

-Firmly in the hand, or let it hang. It's about me today, and not the purse.

-High up, my personal fav. It's worn close to the body above your bent elbow. This simply means: the bag is mine and  only mine!

Picture caption (from L to R): At the wrist, below the elbow, firmly in hand and high up.

  Generation Gap

Really, I mean Really.

This past week, I so felt my age or is it that I am that challenged when it comes to abbreviated lingo. So in walks a girl in her early twenties we do the normal meet and greet. She find a couple of T's from SURE design. My co-worker comments on her T that she is wearing. I then try to read the name on the bottom.  I ask for her help in pronouncing STRFKR. I continue to fumble kind of like trying to decode custom  license plates. She plants the biggest smile on her face that is now fifty shades of red and says mam, it stands for "star f'er" he name of the rock band.

Earth Day should be every day

Taking care of the Earth is not just a responsibility--its a privilege. I recently decided to try and do my part to help save the Earth.

*  I am drinking  tap water instead of bottled.

 * I am leaving my car home or car pooling  two days a week, this will reduce greenhouse gas and emissions by an average of 1,590 pounds per yr.

* I am trying to walk to work at least 3 days a week. This will help reduce greenhouse gasses and burn calories!

* I am more focused on recycling.  Do you know that if an office building of 7,000 workers recycled all of its paper waste for a year, it would be the equivalent of taking 400 cars of the road.

What are you willing  to do?

  True Elegance

On Tuesday I walked into the Four Seasons…………….. nail salon,  and I picked up the latest edition of T. I could not believe my eyes. Was the women  on the cover Jackie Bouvier. My obsession began. I thumbed my way through leaving my DNA on each and every page until I reached page 182. That is were I discovered LEE RADZIWILL. One of Truman Capotes Swans, Sister of the  late Jackie Kennedy, a European Princess, with romantic liaisons from Peter Beard to Aristotle Onassis. At 79, Radziwill has pared back life to the essential luxuries that have the most meaning: her apartment is sparingly decorated with treasured objects; her highly edited wardrobe consist of only the looks she loves best. She wears the same earrings and ring every day. Reaming true to oneself now feels so uniquely renegade. It is know wonder she was selected to grace to cover of True Elegance!

So if any of you are just as obsessed with anything that bears the name BOUVIER or  KENNEDY your next reads should be:IN HER SISTERS SHADOW,  HAPPY TIMES  AND ONE SPECIAL SUMMER

  BOOK IT

I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE ONE OF MY LATEST READS: PEACE- THE WORDS AND INSPIRATIONS OF MAHATMA GANDHI. I BELIEVE EACH AND EVERYONE OF US CAN TAKE SOMETHING AWAY FROM THIS BOOK.

Mahatma Gandhi    mahatma Gandhi

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, commonly known as Mahatma Gandhi, was the preeminent leader of Indian nationalism in British-ruled India. Employing non-violent civil disobedience, Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for non-violence, civil rights and freedom across the world.

The son of a senior government official, Gandhi was born and raised in a Hindu Bania community in coastal Gujarat, and trained in law in London. Gandhi became famous by fighting for the civil rights of Muslim and Hindu Indians in South Africa, using new techniques of non-violent civil disobedience that he developed. Returning to India in 1915, he set about organizing peasants to protest excessive land-taxes. A lifelong opponent of "communalism"

ENJOY!

  SWEPT OF OUR FEET

When is a shoe not just a shoe? Why, when it's a love object, a fetish or an alternative dream of course. Shoes like handbags, have grown in cultural stature over the last several years. They send out coded and not-so-coded messages about women who wear them: I am SEXY, CHIC; I can AFFORD to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$. To our CUSTOMERS it is quite simple.......... If FAYES has it, I MUST HAVE IT!

  RANCHERS

We are all familiar with the saying "The grass is greener on the other side". Well did you know how that saying actually started? It started with farmers and ranchers, back in the days when the farmers cattle would break out of the fencing. The fact was, the grass was greener on the otherside of the fence because the grass was greener and taller.  So, the grass really WAS greener on the other side.

Wel, I l have had my time of being on the "greener'  side of things, but were they actually greener of better? No not at all. Maybe at first, but not for long. That's where the other good old saying comes from. Should I have left things the way they were?

I think the problem with everyone that feels the grass is greener on the other side, is the fact thay they may be bored, or simply confused with the direction on one's life. Or are we just trying to better ourselves?  I would bet, that for most, it ends up beng a huge mistake! They were actually better off the way they were to begin with? Hello?  A friend once said to me that he thinks I want change because, deep down, I am to scared to move forward with my own personal growth because it's out of my comfort zone. So, the fact that the grass is always greener on the other side is not true! And yes, some many still feel the need to give it a try. I am at peace with myself and the choices I've made. I look forward to moving forward, and to giving myself permision to question and challenge myself day-to-day. And, I can't think of a better place to do this than at home with my FAYES FAMILY.

  All Eyes on Me

Well, we all know the saying an "eye for an eye". In my case, it should be an eyelash for an eyelash. I would like to give a big shout out to my new friend Tawana. I complimented her on her beautiful  eye lashes and guess what? The very next day she returned with a pair for me to try. You all must understand something. I just met Tawana. The random act of kindness is something we all should hold close to our hearts. So I guess the old  saying , if you  find and  eyelash on your cheek, make a wish and it will come true.

  The Meaning of the Mircale

What is Chanukah?  When the royal Hasmonean family overpowered and was victorious over “the Greeks” they searched and found only a single cruse of pure oil… enough to light the Menorah for a single day.  A miracle occurred and they lit the Menorah with this oil for eight days.  On the following year they established these (eight days) days as a festivity of praise and thanksgiving to G-d.

  GUEST BLOGGERS

Hi it's  Millie Lanigan and Heidi Crimmins live from the back room of Fayes! We are so excited that Tiffany asked us to blog.!

Its Heidi.... do you know that the counter behind the desk is called Crimmins Counter? Why you ask? Haven't  you seen me at the counter having soup from the cafe? Today is broccoli cheddar. Oh so yummy!

Well I don't have a counter named after me. I am pretty much the girl Friday. " Millie take the garbage out"," Millie tell you mom the phone is for her"

Don't worry Millie you mom tells me to help myself . As a matter of fact most customers think that I  work here.

You all get the picture. We pretty much live at the store so I guess you could call us one of the girls! How lucky are we, that we get to see the merchandise first!

  A TRUE WORLD LEADER

Need I say more.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs’ Stanford Commencement Address

  Fabulous Face

You've picked out the perfect clothes. Don't make the mistake of wearing last year's make-up trends!  Hope you find Patrick Foley's tips as useful as I did....

PATRICK FOLEY’s Five Steps to a Fabulous Fall Face

1. Go for something eye-catching.“Last season, we focused on the lips,” Patrick says. “Now, everyone wants that flat, smoky eye.” He suggests picking dark plums, blues and blacks, like the selection found in the Serge LutensEyeshadow Palette. “It’s kind of a polished Sharon Tate in Valley of the Dolls—smoky, with a lot of contour.”

2. Lose the liner.Well, lose some of it. “You don’t want that heavily lined eye,” Patrick says. Opt for a more precise, soft-framing liner instead. To get the look, try NARSLarger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner.

3. Peachy pouts take priority. The darker lip stains we saw last year are lightening up this fall. Patrick’s favorite for lips? Clé de Peau’s new Extra Rich Lipstick in T9. “It’s that perfect peach that doesn’t look too orange,” he says. If you’re not ready to give up on bold lips altogether, Patrick suggests one of Clé de Peau’s darker shades. But if you’re going dark on the lips, avoid overdoing the eyeshadow.

4. All about the application. Almost everyone can agree: The right tool can take your look to the next level. “With matte shadows, it’s all about how you blend,” Patrick says. The one thing he keeps within reach: the Line Blender Brush by Claudio Riaz. “It can make someone at home a makeup artist,” he says. “And it’s just right for applying that matte shadow close to the lash line.”

5. Fresher is fiercer. This year, heavy makeup is passé from East Coast to West Coast. “People just aren’t going heavy with their foundation,” he says. “But they are going for something a little more flat this year—not so dewy.” Try Koh Gen Do’s Aqua Foundation Illuminator under Giorgio Armani’s Face Fabric or Chantecaille’s Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer. Bronzer is an important staple item too—even in the colder months. Patrick suggests the HourglassIllume Crème-to-Powder Bronzer Duo in Bronze Light. “It’s different from last year,” he says. “A little bit of color can be good.”

MY HEAD WAS IN THE SAND

THE QUESTION I KEEP ASKING MYSELF IS , WHERE THE HECK HAVE I BEEN THE LAST COUPLE OF SUMMERS? THIS PAST WEEKEND I REDISCOVERED  BRADFORD BEACH! A LOT HASN'T CHANGED, LIKE  SEEING MR BEACH IN HIS SPEEDO AT THE AGE OF 70 OR THE BEACH BUMS WITH THEIR SUN REFLECTORS. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN DOWN TO THE BEACH IT IS SO WORTH THE TRIP. MY FAMILY AND I SPENT SEVERAL HOURS WATCHING VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENTS IN COMFY ADIRONDACK CHAIRS WHILE OTHERS OPTED TO RENT BEACH CABANAS OR SIT AT THE TIKI BAR LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE BEACH. FOR A MOMENT I THOUGHT I WAS IN SOUTH BEACH LOL. THE PEOPLE WATCHING WAS AMAZING! SO MANY MORE FASHION "DON'TS'" THAN "DO'S". SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOME FUN IN THE SUN , CHECK IT OUT.

  Happy Fourth

The 4th of July is just around the corner. This happens to be one of my favoite holidays. This quote brings back very fond childhood memories. I hope all of you will take the time to create special memories with friends and loved ones.

You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism. ~Erma Bombeck

  SHE WEARS SHORT SHORTS

One of the biggest challenges that I personally have is whether or not I should be wearing shorts. Let the truth be known I am 44yrs old and still have pretty good legs.  I continue to see other people wearing styles of  shorts that I believe aren't age appropriate..So I perused  the store and found that YES it okay for me to wear shorts. I like to call them Bermudas. SO here is my interpretation. The older you are, the longer the shorts. Mid length shorts can cross over to many different ages but please ladies leave the short, shorts for the youngsters.

  The count Down

5 days and counting! I am sooooooooooo excited! The royal wedding is just around the corner. So I don't have the fabulous sapphire and diamond engagement ring. But I am so ok with that. John from Kalibre will be in town starting Thursday and I am sure I will find the perfect gems from his sterling silver and semi precious jewelry collection. So even if  I am not royalty, I sure will be dressed like it!

  From Mequon to Miami

The Heat was on in Miami and NO I am not talking about the basketball team! Fashionistas were out in full swing. The maxi skirt replaced every bottom of season’s past. From poolside, to the beach, to the trendiest night clubs...that is pretty much all you saw. Ok, well, the patio dress and the trouser jean did give the skirt a run for the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.  The wash on the jean was light and so was the weight. The housewives of Miami definitely showed their plastic on top and there 4” Jimmy Choos’s on the bottom. The rockers on the other hand opted for romance on top and flip flops on the bottom.  Eyelashes were all the flutter and if your hair isn’t past your shoulders it’s time to think extension’s.  Only in Miami will you  see a  two million dollar yacht with the logo of a plastic surgeon on  all sides. So you get the picture..........TLC fit in perfectly! LOL
