FROM FAYE'S FASHION FILES

ATLANTA HOLIDAY MARKET REPORT

Once again, Faye and Jen traveled to the Atlanta Seasonal Market to curate merchandise and seek visual merchandising inspiration for our Festive@Faye's Holiday Shop.

Faye's Recap:

So, like last July, our entire day was spent in permanent showrooms. Four complete floors!

This is a “wholesale” way to learn the trends, as the showrooms have lavish vignettes.

This is what emerged:

Jeweled Holiday: Saturated colors interpreted on fantastical flora, birds, insects. Some large scale.

Pastel Christmas: Not a Barbie derivative…more a visit to Dylan’s Candy Bar.

Scandi(navian) Christmas: Elevated woodland.

A “Christmas Story:" Immerse yourself in nostalgia.

We also did a very pretty fall capsule of uniquely shaped pillar candles, tablescape swag, and leather squirrel sculptures (blame this one on me…my fave thing of the day!) Squirrels are definitely a thing…and, yup, Tiff, MUSHROOMS ARE EVERYWHERE.

Next up, we visited temporary showrooms (booths).

2 buildings, multiple floors.

This is where we augmented the above and found gifts, hostess items, etc.

I love traveling with Jen.

We have a gentle “push and pull” and can evaluate thousands of items smaller than a coffee cup in micro seconds. 😂

Looking forward to another beautiful & exciting Festive@Faye's Holiday Shop!
